This module is good for new websites to load a single page indicating a launch date. It can be inserted in a module position within the included offline.php override file when the website global configuration is set to offline, or create a page and menu item and set to default then assign the module to that page.

HTML can be inserted to display images, music, video etc. If you use ModulesAnywhere plugin from NoNumber.nl then you can insert another module within the module.

The counter boxes and fonts automatically adjusts based on the outer container width so no need to set multiple width parameters.

The Parameters

Target Date
Popup calendar to select the date

Set Exact Time
Set this parameter to count down to the final second. The default is set to execute the end message at midnight of the date set.

Timezone
List of global time zones to match the local time for accurate count

Width
The width of the outer container. The counter font size is automatically adjusted based on this width.

Round Corners
This will set the outer container corners to rounded.

Box Shadow
Enable/disable the outer container drop shadow.

Box Shadow Color
This sets the color of the box shadow if enabled.

Background Color
Set the hex color of the outer container background.

Background Image
Choose from a list of gradient images. If NONE is selected then only the hex color will show. You can add your images to modules/mod_cmse_countdown/elements/images/bg . The style element defaults to top repeat-x.

Border Size
Sets the width of the outer container border. Set to 0 for no border.

Border Color
Sets the hex color of the outer container border. If the size is set to 0 then no color will show.

Text Size
This sets the text size for the Other Message text area. The counter and Target Message font sizes are automatically adjusted when the container width is changed.

Text Color
This set the color to the text outside of the counter boxes. This will be the textareas.

Message
Enter a message which will display below or above the counter indicating what the viewer should be prepared for. Can be plain text or HTML. The message is automatically removed when the date is reached.

Message Position
Choose the position for the Message above or below the counter.

End Message
Enter a message which is automatically displayed only on the target date. Can be plain text or HTML so it can be an image linked to the home page or even javascript, php or meta refresh to load the home page.

Other Message
This is just for additional stuff if you want content to stay focused even on the target date. This does not go off.

Optional Offline Site Params

Advanced Parameter Settings

The download package includes an optional OFFLINE.PHP override file to be inserted into your default template folder. The file is in the folder named 'elements'. After installation just copy it to your default template root. This file includes a position called "offline" which you can assign the countdown module when your website is in offline mode.

The Advanced Parameters has controls for the offline use.

Show Login Form
This allows the display of the admin frontend login form when in offline mode. REQUIRES THE INCLUDED OFFLINE.PHP FILE to be copied to your default template's root folder.

Load Offline Style
This will enable a style class which is used only for the offline.php page.
